The most convenient way to get to LTCS from the airport is by taxi.
The regular taxi meter-rate is 2 RMB/km. As the Capital Airport is located 40km northeast from us, it will cost you around 120 RMB (highway toll fee of 10 RMB and bunker surcharge of 2 RMB included) to get to the lab from the airport.
Tell the taxi driver to drive to the College of engineering of Peking University and it’s located 50m north from APTECH(in Chinese: 位于北京大学工学院，北大青鸟北面). It takes approximately 1-2 hours to arrive here from the airport, depending on the traffic.
You also have the option of first traveling to Zhong Guan Cun (中关村) city center via the airport shuttle bus (Line 5) and then take a taxi from Zhong Guan Cun to the lab. The airport shuttle fare is 16 RMB/person, you may purchase the tickets at the shuttle bus booth located just outside the terminal 2 or terminal 3. Keep in mind that you must get on the Line 5 shuttle bus that makes a stop at Zhong Guan Cun; if you need help or guidance, please ask the shuttle booth attendants for assistance. Once you get off at Zhong Guan Cun, take a taxi to the lab, which will cost about 15-25 RMB.

Besides, you can also get here by subway. Take the Line ‘Airport Express’ from Terminal 2 or Terminal 3, and change to Line 10 at the ‘Sanyuanqiao’ station, and change to the Line 4 at ‘Haidian Huangzhuang’ station, finally you will get off at ‘Peking University East Gate Station. The Line ‘Airport Express’ charges 25 RMB, for other subway lines only charges 2 RMB/person. The Line ‘Airport Express’ operating hours: 6:20 a.m. to 22:50. (from Terminal 3), 6:35 a.m. to 23:10. (from Terminal 2).
