报告内容摘要:
Over the past decade, photoacoustic tomography (PAT) has become one of the fastest growing biophotonic imaging techniques. It uniquely combines the sensitive contrast provided by the absorption of electromagnetic and the detection of ultrasound waves. PAT is non-invasive, non-ionizing, and can image deep tissues in vivo. This presentation provides a brief overview of the PAT in biomedicine, from basic principles to the applications. The emphasized areas are the fundamental mechanism, the functional and molecular imaging, and my research projects. I will also present my future research plan and discuss potential collaboration opportunities.
报告人简介:
Changhui Li received his B.S. degree from the Department of Technical Physics and M.S. degree from the Department of Physics of Peking University, China, in 1997 and 2000, respectively, and the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees from the Department of Physics of Texas A&M University at College Station, TX, in 2002 and 2006, respectively.
Dr. Li is currently a postdoc in the Optical Imaging Laboratory under Prof. Lihong Wang in the Department of Biomedical Engineering at Washington University in St. Louis. His research interests include the novel biophotonic imaging and sensing technologies, the radiative interactions with small particles, and the radiative transfer in the turbid medium.
Dr. Li has published 18 peer-reviewed journal articles. He was selected as the reviewer for multiple journals, including Optics Express, IEEE Transactions on Ultrasonics, Ferroelectrics, and Frequency Control, and the Journal of Biomedical Optics. He also serves on the editorial board for Medical Physics.
