Conclusion
1. A Constrained Large Eddy Simulation method is introduced to simulate the compressible channel flow with Re=3000, Ma=0.5, 0.8.
2. Compared with traditional LES, CLES can highly improve the mean velocity and total temperature profiles.
3. Compared with traditional hybrid RANS/LES method, we can get almost the same mean velocity and total temperature profiles in the center region and the near wall region. However, there is a large jump near the interface in traditional RANS/LES method, while it can be neglected in CLES, especially when the interface is far away enough from the wall.
4. The Van Driest transformation is used to remove the effect of density changes in mean velocity and total temperature. It can fit a log-law profile after the transformation.
